ENERGY STAR CERTIFIED UNDER LATEST STRINGENT ENERGY STAR 3.0 REQUIREMENTS

The Mystic River E-Save Home far exceeds the state building code. It is certified under the Energy Star 3.0 standards, which many builders consider too rigorous to undertake. An Energy Star certified home warrants thru 3rd party testing that the home will have healthier indoor air quality, be more comfortable and durable. It guarantees savings on utility bills.

This E-Save Home is super insulated and it is heated and cooled without the use of fossil fuels. That’s right . . . no fuel oil or gas . . . and guess what? It does not use geothermal. This home was designed using a five step process to reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency. The home has earned a 5 Star Plus projected HERS rating of 48 which is 52% better than a home constructed to the current building code requirements.
