Norton C. Wheeler III

Graduate Master Builder / Principal

A 46-year homebuilding industry veteran, Nort has been recognized with state awards for his custom homes, renovations and residential development, and he has earned the top industry recognition, Builder of the Year, five times in the last decade.

The Showcase Homes Nort has built to educate the public, are like home shows within a home, demonstrating the latest innovations in building materials, products and construction technology. He has developed a strong network of connections with building product manufacturers. This gives him a decided edge in delivering exceptional value to his custom home and remodeling clients.

“With each project we undertake we devote our full commitment and resources to ensure that the build is the best it can be in every way.”
— Nort Wheeler

Nort Wheeler’s impressive educational credentials show his passion for his profession: Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), Certified Green Professional (CGP),

He is a leader in the industry, having served as Past President of the Builders Association of Eastern CT and currently on the Board of Directors at the national, state and local Home Builders Associations.

Nort is married with two boys – Mason and Jackson. An avid sailor, he has been ‘blue water’ sailing from Fort Lauderdale to Mystic, Annapolis to Bermuda and racing on the Great Lakes.
